From a worn part to a work order.
SpareCAD is production software for workshops that make spare parts for textile machines. Photograph a worn part, add a few measurements, and get a CNC-ready drawing, a price and a work order in one system.
Most loom spare parts are still copied by hand.
When a velvet or carpet loom stops, the mill sends the broken part to a workshop. Someone measures it with a caliper, sketches it, works out the material and machine time, and phones back a price. The drawing lives on paper, the price in someone's head, and the next order for the same part starts from zero.
SpareCAD turns that into one digital record: the part, its drawing, its cost and every order made from it.
How it works
- 1
Photograph
Take photos of the worn part next to a reference scale, from the phone on the shop floor.
- 2
Measure
Claude reads the photos and asks only for the critical dimensions it can't see: bores, threads, tolerances.
- 3
Draw
A dimensioned drawing and CNC-ready file are generated for review by your machinist.
- 4
Quote
Material, stock size and machining time are estimated from the drawing and your own rates.
- 5
Produce
An approved quote becomes a work order, then stock and a delivery, all linked to the same part.
One system for the whole workshop
Part library
Every part you have ever made, with photos, drawings, the looms it fits (Van de Wiele, Günne and others) and its order history.
Photo-to-drawing
Claude's vision turns photos and a few measurements into a drawing your machinist checks and approves before anything is cut.
Automatic quoting
Prices from material, stock size and machining time, using your machines and hourly rates, so the same part always gets the same price.
Orders, stock and maintenance
Work orders, raw material and finished-part stock, deliveries, and repeat orders for the mills you supply.
Built inside a working spare-parts shop
Our first pilot is Göktürk Tekstil in Istanbul, which makes and supplies spare parts for velvet and carpet weaving looms. Its catalogue of 118 coded parts is the first data set in SpareCAD, and its real orders are where each feature is tested first.
SpareCAD is in development. Workshops that want to join the next pilot group can request early access.
